Individual Therapy
Individual therapy offers a dedicated space to slow down, gain perspective, and create meaningful change. While some people think of this as "traditional talk therapy," our work together is an active, collaborative process designed to help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and build lasting emotional resilience.
Whether you're coping with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, addiction or recovery, life transitions, stress, low self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck, therapy provides a supportive environment to explore what you're experiencing without judgment.
Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you from living the life you want, strengthen your insight and self-awareness, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence. Depending on your goals, our work may include skill-building, mindfulness, psychodynamic exploration, nervous system regulation, and evidence-based approaches that foster both healing and personal growth.
Every person's journey is unique. Therapy is tailored to your individual needs, helping you reconnect with your strengths, deepen self-compassion, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy that helps the brain naturally process and heal from distressing experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR focuses less on repeatedly discussing the past and more on helping your nervous system resolve experiences that continue to affect your thoughts, emotions, and daily life.
Many clients find EMDR sessions to be more active and directive than traditional therapy. Together, we'll identify the experiences, memories, or beliefs that may be keeping you feeling stuck and use EMDR's structured approach to help your brain process them in a healthier, more adaptive way.
EMDR has been extensively researched and is highly effective for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, phobias, OCD and panic. It can also be helpful for grief and loss, childhood trauma, difficult life experiences, relationship wounds, low self-worth, performance anxiety, and negative beliefs such as "I'm not enough" or "I'm not safe."
As distress decreases, many people experience greater emotional balance, increased self-confidence, healthier relationships, and the freedom to respond to life from the present rather than from past experiences.
